Be part of our growing community of volunteers who are taking action toward changing the world one leader at a time through mentoring.
We have a global team of volunteers. You can expect diverse cultural backgrounds, communication styles, working time due to time zones and life commitments, levels of professional experiences, and so much more. These make our volunteer environment a great opportunity to learn from each other, develop empathy towards others’ unique situations, and improve communication and collaboration skills.
Our Founder gets to orient all volunteers of our history, vision, mission, core leadership values, and the team that you are going to be a part of if you decide to proceed to support our organization in its growth and maturity.
Here are some of the volunteer positions that we greatly need support on to continue with our mission of changing the world one leader at a time through mentoring.
You will contribute using your creative program development and management skills. We like fresh ideas about how our programs can be more fun, engaging, enriching (we always want to learn!) to our community and guests. You will further develop your networking and communication skills by designing ways to do sponsorship and partnership outreach.
If you have a knack for planning, organizing, and managing a team who can execute on a program collaboratively designed by you and your team, this may be just the give-back role that is right for you. You also don’t mind rolling up your sleeves and doing the work to achieve set goals.
You will work with experienced programs and project managers and learn from them. You will develop your networking and communication skills as you help with sponsorship and partnership outreach and events organization.
If you are a natural at working on the finer details of putting an event together, giving the attendees a welcoming smile, a helping hand, and an active voice to support their needs while at the event, whether online or in person, this would be a great give-back opportunity for you.
You will evaluate how we are currently using our Salesforce infrastructure on The Mentoring Club Platform Application, the customer relationship management processes, the marketing services, among others. You will recommend and implement the most cost-effective way of utilizing the Salesforce infrastructure based on the goals of the organization in various phases of its growth, development, and maturity. You will provide guidance to Salesforce Developers and Salesforce Administrators in implementing the agreed improvements in the Salesforce environment.
If you are an accomplished Salesforce Architect and have vast experience in designing and implementing Salesforce applications to help organizations maximize their investment by gaining efficiencies through their Salesforce infrastructure and you are ready to give back to a cause that promotes leadership development mentoring globally, you are a great fit for this role.
You will work with one or two other Salesforce Developers (and Ideally, a Salesforce Developer/Architect) to maintain our current mentoring platform application developed on top of the Salesforce infrastructure. You will also develop new features based on the feedback of our users and the vision of our Founder.
If you are happy with your current role as a Salesforce Developer, have some time in your hands for volunteer work, and are looking to make a difference in supporting a nonprofit organization focused on leadership development mentoring globally, consider helping us. You may find our environment complementary to your satisfying full-time job as we have a collaborative and learning environment.
You will assist in leveraging our Salesforce platform to optimize our data reporting and customer relationship management processes. We have a number of big and small projects that can help you practice your Salesforce Administration Trailhead training and certification. There’s no substitute for experiencing the work day-to-day to become an expert in the Salesforce infrastructure, open your minds to the vast Salesforce ecosystem, and get your hands dirty on the applications Salesforce supports to enable nonprofits to gain operational efficiencies while focusing on their missions.
If you are a certified Salesforce Administrator looking for an opportunity to implement hands-on your administration training and you believe in supporting a nonprofit whose mission is into leadership development mentoring globally, join our team of Salesforce Administrator volunteers and enjoy learning from each other. Likewise, if you are an experienced Salesforce Administrator, have some time in your hands for volunteer work, and are looking to make a difference in supporting a nonprofit organization focused on leadership development mentoring globally, consider helping us and be a mentor to new Salesforce Administrators in our team.
You will organize events for our community on a regular basis. These could be talks, hikes, group mentoring sessions, or other activities that promote knowledge sharing and community building among our mentees, mentors, volunteers, donors, supporters, partners, and sponsors.
If you like people, learning from them, and engaging with them in a collaborative way to achieve the goals of the events together, we need you. Help us offer more meaningful interactions within our community and attract new members with these value-packed events consistently.
You will help onboard mentors and mentees. You will help match them.
If you like listening to people’s life stories, understanding what makes them tick, and why they want to be mentors or mentees, you have a great opportunity to replicate our Founder’s passion for getting to know our mentors and mentees and share the joy of matching the mentees goals and development skills with our mentors’ passions and areas of expertise.
You will help us raise funds by identifying grant opportunities and writing the grants.
If you are an accomplished Grant Writer and wish to help our mission of changing the world one leader at a time through mentoring, let’s raise funds for the organization together.
