Mentoring Matters Talk – December 2022

About this event

To cap another challenging year with a lot of uncertainties in the economies of the world, we are closing 2022 with a hopeful tone with leaders helping each other out in life’s tough times through mentoring.

When most things are in chaos, stress levels high, and spirits low, there are those unique individuals who stood and will stand the test of the global pandemic and its aftermath, and the ramifications of war and its impact on economies and jobs.

They are called leaders.

Leaders keep their eyes on their goals regardless of obstacles. They make a plan and take action to achieve their goals. They may get distracted but once they catch themselves, they get back on track. They are always learning. They do what is meaningful work to them. They are committed to work towards making a positive impact on the lives of the people around them and the people they serve. They strive to make a difference in the world.

The mentors and mentees in The Mentoring Club are leaders. They are in various stages of their leadership journeys and they come together for this gathering to share their experiences and their take on mentoring.

Does mentoring really matter? Why? How? What does mentoring mean to them? Would their lives be different today if they decided not to engage in mentoring relationships?

Listen to their stories and for sure you are bound to pick up a thing or two that may tell you if mentoring is right for you.
